Looking for a new router

Wreckingball

Im current looking for a new router to upgrade to. I have been using a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000) for about 5 years which has some issues (sometimes disconnects for about a minute, when playing R6S on the same network as my housemate in a squad, one of us gets kicked unless I use my schools VPN). I'm looking at the ASUS RT-AC3200 and TP-Link AC4000 (A20). Are either of these recommended or are there any strong alternatives that anyone would recommend?

A Ubuiqiti Edge Router X and an access point and you'd be golden they do require a bit of setup but they're so worth it.

Any access point that you would recommend to go with that?

I use the Ubiquiti AP Lite and it's more than enough to get pretty much my full speed through my entire apartment, I'm in the farthest room with two rooms and a few walls between me and the AP and I get 270 to 300mbs which is my full speed at all times. They also have the AP Pro which I haven't personally used but offers a stronger signal and better range.
