UNIFI set up

Hey guys

 

Thinking about redoing my home network and thinking of going with a unifi set up, I don't know if this is a stupid question but do I need a unifi switch to use the cloud key?

No. It will work just as well with any other brand switch.

You may need a way to power it if the switch port isn't PoE but outside of that nothing makes it proprietary to Ubiquiti switches. We're not talking about CISCO here.
