What is the smartest upgrade for a fx amd system?

Do you think if I remove the Gpu the rest of the pc will survive air freight? Or should I disassemble it completely?

Thanks

I would put the parts in their original boxes of possible, or don't take them out until you move, for optimal safety.

What is the CPU Cooler. Lots of AM3 MoBo's are thin* and a large air cooler is a major liability.

System CPU : Ryzen 9 5950 doing whatever PBO lets it. Motherboard : Asus B550 Wifi II RAM 80GB 3600 CL 18 2x 32GB 2x 8GB GPUs Vega 56 & Tesla M40 Corsair 4000D Storage: many and varied small (512GB-1TB) SSD + 5TB WD Green PSU 1000W EVGA GOLD

You can trust me, I'm from the Internet.

I agree, he shouldn't open them until he moves imo.

(CyberPowerPC) he might nit have original boxes. IMO removing air cooler and GPU should be sufficient if everything is screwed in tight so they don't shake off.

I don't really know what cooler it is, but it isn't one that comes with a cpu. It is also not that big.

True, but for extra safety, I would say RAM, because you don't want it shaking around in the dimm slots

A cooler is what cools the CPU. If it's a warercooler, it can cool the GPU as well.

Ok, I will just wrap the cooler, gpu and ram in bubble wrap.

I would check back (With a new thread as old ones don't generally have a great response rate) a day or two after the ryzen 3000 launch on July 7th
