Adding RGB Fan To Air Cooler

So I've build my computer a little while ago and am in the middle of doing some upgrades. I am looking to add an RGB fan to my existing heat sink and picked up the the RGB Fan listed below. I am just wondering if it is compatible with my motherboard. The fan has two wires coming out, one 4 pin and one 3 pin. The motherboard has a RGB header but it says its for light strips but i was hoping it could be used for the cpu instead?

Cooler heatsink can fit any 120mm fan with brackets.

Fan power is 4pin PWM. RGB power and control is 3pin. You plug both to mobo, refer to the manuals about which headers are to be used. And how.
