Python sound editing software

Hello Python Engineers  I was thinking of editing (simple editing) sound with a python program, i know it's possible, but can enyone give me a heads-up start?

Its possible but why would you do that? sounds complicated and it will probably be pretty slow to do with python.

Yup, superpowered audio is one that i can think of which was cross platform and probably supports more platforms nowadays.

I used the library Pydub check it out it's pretty cool
