Go to services and DNS resolver.

yes i know that but how does the overrides work. i want my av receiver webUI (192.168.1.153) to be accessible when i type receiver.acn or something like that in the URL,

i tried to do it but it doesnt work. dns forwarding=unchecked, dnssec=checked, dns resolver=checked

Have you tried adding http:// or https:// before receiver.acn?

I have a few web services running on my servers that I use the hostnames for, but they still require https:// before the hostname so it uses the correct port.

You shouldn't need the domain override there.

Remove the domain override. Also, change the "parent domain of host" to "acn" -- at the moment, you've defined a host called "receiver.receiver.acn"
