That board is terrible and has no upgrade path as the VRM is too weak.

If he wants to save some money the 3700X will be cheaper. There is also no need to go X570 if they are a lot more expensive (Which they are looking likely to be). An MSI B450 Tomahawk would do the job and you can update the bios without a cpu if need be.

damn, are some things really that cheap in UK.. 28 pounds for a WD Blue, 24 for a 3000Mhz stick
