Is it 1 stick of RAM or 2 sticks?  That impacts a good bit with Ryzen.

Is that one stick of 8GB or two sticks of 4GB? Ryzen really doesn't sit well with single channel memory. If you get another stick for dual channel memory operation, things will likely get a bit better.

Also HDD is not a great idea if you want a fast and responsive system.

Thinking the same thing, benchmark show that this is the case

@KZGIm pretty sure if you are getting that much fps at such low settings, your game might be playing with the intergrated vega 8 grapichs, based on how much fps you get compared to the benchmarks. So first of all make sure you are using the 1050ti and NOT the vega 8. I think you can check in device manager under the "display adapters" tab, there should either say 1050ti or something along "vega 8 intergrated" or something like that. IF it may say vega 8 but you do have your monitor plugged into your gpu, you may have to go into the bios and check for a similar option there, something along like "disable/enable intergrated grapichs" . Make sure your pc uses your 1050ti before you do anything else, like ordering a SSD online. If you have plugged your monitor into your motherboard, it will automaticlly choose the intergrated gpu when booting up, but if you plug your monitor into the gpu, it will start with the 1050ti.

I recently bought a similar system, a ryzen 3 2200g, 2x4gb ram sticks, asrock a320m-hdv r3.0 (yes sadly a non OC mobo stoopid me) and a 500gb HDD. After bout 1 month of having this system i bought a 1TB ssd for bout 100$ on sale, and that really made a diffrence in both overall windows performance but also in games. So make sure you also buy an SSD for that system, it will help a lot.

Alright @KZG, here's a summary of what you need to do, arranged by priority:

- Get an SSD! Not only will this improve game load times, literally EVERYTHING on Windows will just be so much faster! This is why Chromebooks are so snappy.

- Check that your video cable is plugged into your graphics card (the thing labeled "1050 Ti") and not the motherboard (the thing you put the CPU into).

- Get more, faster RAM. Two sticks provides about twice as much speed as one, and DDR4-3200 is very good for Ryzen CPUs (they love memory bandwidth). I use 16 GB of relatively fast DDR4.

- Get a better CPU. For about $160, you can get a six-core CPU with triple the threads (more multitasking performance and in day-to-day use), the Ryzen 5 2600.

- Getting a GTX 1650 or 1660 can aid with higher resolution monitors. If you by chance have like a 1440p or above monitor, you'll definitely see a performance hit compared to 1080p.

I would put the it in this order:

-check if pc is using right gpu

-make sure you have dual channel ram/ get more ram tho i dont think thats what causing it. I can play games fine with 2666mhz 8gb ddr4 dual channel ram. (i will get more and faster ram soon, dont worry)

-Get a SSD not only for gams but for everything on your pc.

-get a better cpu. Yes i do got the same, and i dont feel like a 2200g is right for me, a ryzen 5 or higher would do me right. (paired with rx480)

-get better gpu. IF you are running at anything higher than 1080p, otherwise you SHOULD be fine

Well I would put the SSD thing at the top because that would provide the most significant performance improvement in everything. It can sometimes make a slow PC feel almost new again. Source: Me, switching an old desktop to an SSD.

I would suggest an SSD as well, but that doesn't address his FPS issue.  That's an "oh and get this too at some point" thing.

If he doesn't want or can't buy another stick of 8GB RAM, then at least he has an idea what is affecting his fps.

His call now on if he can or wants to fix.

Totally agree with that. An SSD wont fix his bad fps problem tho it will decrease loading time in games and in windows. That SSD could wait until he has his pc working as it should. I aint sayin he shouldnt get one, its just that he could at least fix one problem at a time, starting with the gpu

He's OC'd to 3.9 but he also has Single Channel RAM.

Is yours a new install of Windows for the specific machine?  or did you upgrade anything and keep Windows?

Most of his Advanced are set to High and you've set yours EXACTLY as he did?

I assume you have a 1080p monitor as well?

I really want to say it sounds like it's the 2200g graphics performance, but it can't be since you're plugged into the GPU properly.

But even the 2200g alone on low-med performs better than you claim your 1050ti is doing...
