Hello

I hope this is the appropriate section for this

I'm having trouble opening up adobe bridge cs5

every time I try to open it, an error message appears saying it has stopped working.

This is the details of the error message

Problem signature:  Problem Event Name: APPCRASH  Application Name: Bridge.exe  Application Version: 4.0.0.529  Application Timestamp: 4b963c03  Fault Module Name: StackHash_0a9e  Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0  Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000  Exception Code: c0000005  Exception Offset: 00000000  OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4  Locale ID: 1033  Additional Information 1: 0a9e  Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789  Additional Information 3: 0a9e  Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
I tried googling stack hash errors, and they say its a DEP problem, so I follow their instructions and disable DEP for the application, but it still doesn't fix it.

Im confused why this started happening because the program used to work a couple months ago, which was the last time I used it.

I'm not sure what else to do, aside from reinstalling everything, except I can only find adobe's new Creative Cloud to download, or only updates for their existing applications.

I would try to reinstall the whole CS5 suite, but I have no idea where the installer is.

Sorry, I don't know about your error :(

But I can suggest contacting Adobe support, they've been quite helpful with fixing stuff in the past with me. And if you end up needing to download CS5, I'm sure they have a link (even if it's not public).
