Adding an NVME SSD to my Laptop

Hi guys, this is my first post on the forum. So I currently have a Lenovo Y520 Gaming laptop that has a 1TB HDD. I'm looking to upgrade it by adding in an NVME SSD in addition to the HDD. I just wanted to ask how I could make the SSD the boot drive rather than the muhc slower HDD

Looking online it appears as though this laptop does not support M.2 drives at all. The best you can do is an SSD connected by SATA.

Never mind, yes it does, Lenovo just don't report it on the Laptop's webpage.

Changing boot drive is as simple as changing the boot order in BIOS.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)
