Strange problem with Nvidia color settings

I was using sometimes "Use Nvidia settings" in "Adjust desktop color settings" section of Nvidia control panel.

In 1903 it still works but only when I'm using monitor (connected by DVI). When I switch to TV (HDMI) I cannot change selection to "Use Nvidia settings". It's not ghosted (inactive), it looks like active option, but I cannot switch into it and set colors.

Anyone notice that or known a solution?

 

It's not very annoying, I'm using it rarely, but still - it's some kind of problem. I also don't want to "try" (advices like "try to reinstall drivers") unless someone KNOWS that it helps (and it's not some 1903 problem). Drivers are up to date etc.

I think in my opinion that DVI connection does not support your monitor with this setting

You don't read my post. DVI works, HDMI doesn't. And works before. And it's not about connection because Nvidia control panel doesn't use DDC/CI, but simply changes colors on computer (not monitor settings).
