Hey guys, I'm building a hackintosh for my brother, he has the installer files and stuff. I wanted to post and let you guys look over the specs and check for compatability with the OS. Any recommendations for different stuff (choose a different ssd, etc) is apprectiated:

Kingston Hyper X 240gb SSD Boot

Gigabyte z77 ud5h

Core i7 3770k

EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 FTW

WD Blue 1tb Mass Storage

16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum ddr3 1600 (4x 4GB) RAM

I don't think PSU, Case, and CPU Cooler matter, but anyway:

Corsair AX 860 860w 80+ Platinum Certified PSU

Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler

Im still not sure which case to get, thinking on the 600t White

Also in need of fans. I would LOVE to use noctuas, but they are just SO ugly.

I may be partitioning the boot and hdd, for Windows 7. If that matters.

This is also my first time building a hackintosh, so anything I should be aware of in that respect feel free to tell me.

Right now the build total is $1937 with shipping. I have a $2000 dollar budget that excludes monitor, keyboard, mouse, and the OS itself.

You can save some money on the power supply, it's way overkill.  A good 550W is more than enough for any single GPU system.  I'd recommend swapping for the SeaSonic SS-660XP2.  For your fans you should use Scythe Gentle Typhoons.  Put one on the radiator and two in the front of the case.  1450RPM or 1850RPM variants are the most common ones, an excellent balance of performance and silence.  At this budget you should probably also look at getting an SSD.

I am already getting an SSD. I want to leave my brother with room for expansion, but I do like the full modularity and power efficiency of both PSUs. I may switch, thanks.
