Need help planning a PC build

I have a budget of 1500. Trying to build a well running PC for playing games and also recording gameplay. If anyone knows a lot about building PC's I could use the help. I've put together computers before but they're always based off those "best budget pc of this year" articles. In the US, only need the actual tower not peripherals.
