hye my new pc specs are

i5 2500

gtx 760

8gb

250gb ssd

850w psu

the issue is that eveything works fine on the pc but the pc wont turn on if the gpu is plugged in and i dont know it uses 6+8pin the 6 is direct from the psu and braded cable to gpu and the 8 pin is 4 molex to 8 pin adapter with a braded cable going to gpu well basicly ive tired putting the the gpu into another pc and it works perfectly fine also the ssd and psu is brand new so cant be that the motherboard has been used before so i thought it might be the PCIE slot that broken is there any way to test that? also could it be softwear maybe drivers or something. basicly can anyone help me fix this?

My Linux PSU is using a quad molex to 8 pin for my 760 and that causes hella problems. What's the make and model of your PSU?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Why does a 850w PSU only have one 6pin connector?

(Probably because it's not really 850 watts)

The 850w psu is the same that ones i used for my gtx 980 ti and 1080ti build its jsut a ace 850w psu and they always worked perfecr for me but took out the 760 and out a 750 that requires no external powers it jsut used the pcie slot and it still doesnt work only shows windows logo the dots spinning then black screen followed by no signal
