Ryzen?

I got a 2700x back around christmas and love it alot but when it comes to upgrading it in the future would it be best to wait until 6nm/5nm  5th gen ryzen to upgrade from the 2700x?

At that point it's too far in the future to give a definivitve answer. It's too early to say what's gonna come out. I'll say this: The 2700x should last you at least a couple of years if not more.

It is way to early since the 3rd gen of ryzen released so its better to wait.
