Well, with the pending drop of Ryzen 3000 CPUs and Navi GPUs, I am planning a new computer build, but while I am at it I am thinking about rearranging my bedroom to run two monitors. Why my room you ask? Well my desk is too small, and likely an L shaped desk in a corner will work best. This way I can finally move my desktop (which is a prebuilt dell at the moment and doesn't pull air in from the bottom) to the top of my desk. While doing this, I will want to get the most amount of desktop space as I can for gaming, but also for homework, work and the like. My main gaming monitor is an Acer XFA240 which is a 1080P 144hz panel. This has a 100x100 Vesa compatible mount, and my friend will be giving me a 27 inch 1080p monitor that I will use as my crap monitor for holding open guides or maybe streaming stuff if I dabble into that after my build. Plan would be to run the 27 inch monitor off to the left or right depending on what looks best, but mounted vertically, and have the 24 inch gamer front and center (normal orientation) to my seating position. This is the mount that I am liking the most honestly. Bonus of this one is that it leaves more room for growth of my set up being able to hold up to a 32 inch monitor in case I ever need to get an ultra wide or upgrade my gaming monitor to a 27 inch or bigger.

Now I do have the option to wall mount, and this is a possibility, but it seems that most people recommend the desk mounts? I can see why, patching holes every time I get the itch to move something around would get annoying...

What do you guys think of these mounts? Do you have better ones to recommend for my plan? I'd like to keep it cheap, but I also don't want my monitors falling.

LMAO. That stand will cost about what I’m planing to build for the actual gaming pc lol. Maybe a tad less!

Personally, I'd get the desk mount; I'm too scared to put a hole in the wall and frankly, it doesn't seem that worth it. But will it even work with an L desk?

Anyhow, since you're building a new PC, maybe consider switching to mATX or even ITX. Saves space and the trade offs are fairly negligible imo.

I hadn’t thought about if the L desk would

pose an issue. Granted I would look for a lip for the stand to sit on. And yes matx or itx are options, but I fell in love with the Rosewill Spectra d100 and that’s what I want to

build in. Likely going ryzen 3600 or Ryzen 7 2700 if the 2700 prices come down and the 3600 isn’t worth it, and a 2070 or one of the Navi cards if worth it, likely the 5700 XT. Going all thermaltake cooling as I am getting a 240 AIO flow riing model from a friend for free. This will be my first build ever so trust me this waiting for Zen 2 and Navi is killing me lol.

I think the VIVO mount is the BEST mount! :D

In all honesty though, the Huanuo mount looks like it will do the job for what you need.  It has plenty of support, flexibility and adjustability for a 32" and 27" monitor together

Too bad it's only compatible with the 6K Pro Display, otherwise they'd sell millions.  Of course, they only need to sell 1,000 of them to make a million...

Thank you for for your honest opinion and the joke lol. I’ll take it even higher into consideration.

If you get the wall mount, just keep in mind that you'll need to mount it over a stud in the wall. Maybe find your wall studs near where you intend to put the desk and make sure they're in places that you're happy with. It would be unfortunate if you got everything ordered and setup, only to find that your monitor placement is going to be two feet to the left of where you wanted them.
