Z390 Gaming PLus MSI

2X R9 295X2

1500 Watt Thermal Take Toughpower

Corsair Vegence 16 3000 mghz

i attempted to run Time Spy Which got me to the second benchmark stage until my computer did a shut down. BioShock Infinite not even ran the game is did a shut down.

the only game ran good was World of Warships cuz it ran on a single gpu

its when ill the GPUs Are running that it does a shut down.

my question can this be solved or am i going to have to remove a card or they cant be playable .

Thanks for the help in advance.

That's two R9 295x2s? Custom loop? If not then remove one of the cards and see if it still crashes with only a single card.

What's the model number on the unit? When did you buy it?
How are the cables configured coming from the PSU to the graphics cards?

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

No that's a special dual GPU card with a hybrid air and water cooler. Basically 2 R9 290s on a single PCB

+1

Did you do any overclocking? Did you test with stock speeds if yes?

How is your RAM installed?

Looks like they have two of the R9 295x2 cards (2 cards, 4 GPU dies).
