For asus fx504gm 25w power limit throttling users only

***Fx504gm only***

1) Uninstall Intel XTU

2) Downgrade to bios v201 (search yourself for the downgrade method)

3) Now, you can stress cpu + gpu with cinebench and furmark at the same time without 25w power limit throttling (not sure in gaming)

Attention: hibernate your laptop will cause 25w power limit throttling (reboot to fix it) and...

thermal throttling still present

About gd/ ge? Don't know, maybe same logic with gm (downgrade to oldest bios)

Firmware will force PL1 to 25W, even though it shows 35W in HWinfo, am I right?

Same in gaming, gpu and cpu get power throttled and now even when the gpu is not used the cpu gets limited at 25w and using overboost mode doesn't unlock it anymore.

You have tested this method for games? Does it removes the limitation of 25w in games with that older bios? Thanks

It doesn t make a difference because the problem is the 120w charger which isn t enough for gtx 1060+i7+rgb+...You can see this because the fx505GM got a 180w charger.

I don't understand this laptop. It can provide the more than 25w, but later after some time in gaming it falls to the 25w.  Asus cheated us. With a 180w charger, we will have the same problem I'm right? Mine I think is 150w (19.5v 7.7Amps)

I had a 120w so I sent it back(my battery was discharging when playing games)but even 150w isn t enough since if you look at other gtx 1060+i7 8750h laptops they all have 180w chargers
