Technically every Displayport cables are the same. From experience I can say there are some worse DP cables. I for example had a cable that couldn't do over 100Hz on a 1440p 165Hz screen. The original cable from the box could though.

Don't go overspending on a cable, but don't get the cheapest cable if you don't need that. Does the monitor you're getting not have a cable included?

Does it really make much difference which Display port cables you use?  Do you need to spend a lot of money to get premium cables or not?

You need a DP cable with the appropriate bandwidth certification for the format you want to run.

Any DP cable: 1080p 144 Hz, 1440p 60 Hz, or 4K 30 Hz

HBR2 cable: 1080p 240 Hz, 1440p 165 Hz, 4K 60 Hz

HBR3 cable: 4K 120 Hz

Other than that, there is no difference between DP cables.

Well there ARE cheap cables with DP connectors that are not rated to spec.

~$20 range is about what you should spend.
