Oculus Rift losing support?

Hi all,

I bought a Rift about 3 months ago but it seems to me like a lot of the new titles are going the way of the new Quest (Vader Unleashed). This is pretty upsetting (and kind of my fault) that I spent $350 on a piece of hardware that is becoming obsolete. How much time do you think the Rift has before they simply stop making software for it?

You do know that you can use SteamVR on Rift too right?

So i think it will take quite a long time.

The oculus might lose support, but SteamVR will remain.

That is true, I use SteamVR for a few games. Steam is far from being my favorite platform, but you eased my mind that it should be a while before they completely stop making content for the Rift. I think a lot of people will be pretty pissed if they completely stop support anytime soon.
