My GPU is bending

So i just noticed that my GPU was bent. Is this normal. I think it due to the weight but im not sure. Does the graphics card being bent have a bad effect on the card. Ive just add a pencil to support it and will later buy a gpu support stand if necessary.

Mine has been bent for a while. It's fucking annoying to look at and pisses me off, but I don't think there's any danger to it.

 

 

You can support it with something if you want but you don't have to.

Depends how bad, over time the PCB can warp creating a small gap between the GPU and cold plate resulting in high temps.

I've had mine bent for about three years now and have zero issues performance/temp wise.

 

Plus, the gap should be so small that thermal paste fills it in.

The problem usually arises if the card has sagged for a long period and then get straightened. Seen it first hand on a Strix 980.
