I would wait a little, as zen 2 is to be released in a couple of weeks (7/7). Some fairly competitive pricing if the performance is there as well, which we will know once benchmarks arise

MSI B450 Pro Gaming Pro Carbon AC | AMD Ryzen 2700x  | NZXT  Kraken X52  MSI GeForce RTX2070 Armour | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4*8) 3200MhZ | Samsung 970 evo M.2nvme 500GB Boot  / Samsung 860 evo 500GB SSD | Corsair RM550X (2018) | Fractal Design Meshify C white | Logitech G pro WirelessGigabyte Aurus AD27QD

Ryzen 3000 beat intel gaming?

No worries

I'd get the Ryzen 2600 but only if it's really really cheap (I can find those for around 130 euros now), but the new Ryzen 3600 is coming really soon and could change the market

How much are you willing to spend? I'd rather get the Ryzen 3600 than any Intel or 2600, but only if it's below 200 euros and only if the Ryzen 2600 isn't lower than 140 euros

Thank you very good..

I5-9400f is the best here. However new AMD CPUs are coming out on July 7th and could provide better price to performance. I'd suggest waiting for that.

I don't think any of these CPUs here can play modern titles up until 2029 though

I don’t know if you’re joking, but Ryzen 1 did exactly that, especially in the mid range. Ryzen 5 was better in every way compared to 7th gen i5s. I’m not extremely hopeful about Ryzen 3000, but saying “no one will dethrone Intel” especially with a potential 15% IPC increase is just ridiculous.

What intel sold at 1k amd sells at 500 (12/24). I can long term see intel loose huge market share due to AMD.

but as I said, we need to see benchmarks to see how much faster they are and how they compare to intels cpu at the same price brackets
