iPhone 6s Battery

Hello. I quickly wanted to ask a question about my iPhone 6s. It is now 3 years and 5 months old and my battery’s max capacity is 72%. I was thinking about replacing my battery because I’d like to use this phone for a little longer, however, I live in a country where there are no Apple shops. I could try a 3rd party option for 21€ or get an iFixIt battery replacement kit for around the same price. So what should I do?

If you can manage to do a battery replacement yourself, going with the manual iFixit route yourself is a good route to go as you can do everything yourself and know exactly what you've put into your phone.

 

If you're not confident in doing the replacement yourself, absolutely go with the 3rd party option from a reputable store that does repairs.

 

I personally replaced the battery of my own iPhone 6s myself as I didn't want anybody else touching my phone, additonally I thought it would be a nice experience to try doing it myself.

Also heads up, not sure how it works in your country, my gf replaced hers in official store, 50 euros and 90 days warranty. It's bs.
