Randomly dropping fps in games

i5 3470

gtx 1060 3g

16gb ram

1600mhz

and in minecraft there is a server i would play and it would run fine with my 1050 but when i got my 1060 games got better fps some

minecraft is now randomly dropping fps in this game where this only 50 mobs

8gb of ram dedicated to mc

forge 1.8.9

and in gta on max settings mass x4 60fps online 40-50 fps i dont get it

Check for any background applications and bring up GPUz to see any problems.

There could be bottlenecking but I dont think so.
Storage bottlenecking?

Not sure but reinstall minecraft if you can.
