need help

i'm no computer wiz, got a pre built for my birthday. was like 2 weeks ago. ran like super good. until i installed update for drivers.... any help would be awesome.

everything has just bogged down... like every game i was running was smooth 60+fps now its low 40s dips into 30s..

No offense but how mutch was it single channel ram a gtx1060 with a 4k Monitor no ssd jesus bro ^^

i know lol, has room for improvements tho! don't have the cash to get em atm.. but will in good time i'm looking at 2 16g ram sticks to stop bottle necking. but the games i play shouldn't even come close to making that happen.

u dont need 32gb ram just get another 8gb stick that matches the one u have and ur fine then get a 128gb ssd for ur windows they are cheap af u will notice a big difference and why do u use a 4k screen with a 1060 3gb vram is really not the right match for that

I have a 4k 144 herz one and playing at 1080p on a 4k screen looks horrible just tryed it once for full 144 in aaa games its just strange that he has a 4k screen with this system

think i got it all worked out, but yeah haha im using my 55' tv as monitor. 120 hrzt it works grate and look nice. trust me dudes it was the stupid driver update that made this weird. but got it worked out. thanks dudes for tha help.

55 zoll jesus  np but u should really get at least a 128gb ssd for windows trust me its a big improvement and its cheap af like 20/30 max
