Ram Performance?

I'm looking at two different Ram packs, one is 3200Mhz CL14, and the other is 3000Mhz CL16.

How much faster is the first one in reality compared to the second one?

It depends on what platform you're putting it on. If it's Intel, you'll likely see almost no benefit. If it's on AMD, you might see a slight improvement in more CPU intense applications.

depends on what you do. for gaming with an intel cpu it will be a very small difference. what cpu do you have ? is it mainly for gaming ?

i9 9900k, Gaming, Graphics Design, and some light 3D modelling etc.

The 3200Mhz CL14 is about twice the price, and I'm building two rigs, so Ram price alone will quickly become quite a chunk of money, although if it's actually noticeable I'll gladly spend the extra money, I just don't want to waste it on a useless statistic.

3200C14 is probably Samsung B-die for what that's worth... if so, on Intel, relatively easy overclock to 3600 and beyond. I don't know if anyone else has that speed/latency timing but you can confirm by looking up the exact type.
