Buy a prebuild mini Pc or Build a desktop pc?

Hey guys. 

 

I was wondering, how well the prebuild mini pc perform?

This Pc for parents, for some small work, movies, internet.

considering you have 1200 posts on these forums, why do u even ask that question when u know 90% of people will say. Self built PC > prebuilt PC > Laptop

 

I am sure u know enough that self built will always be cheaper, as you pick the exact parts you need and dont overpay for them.

cause the rest 10% is the small prebuild system like this one.

+ I did not compare any of the systems. 

I do not know how this small factor build will influence on the performance, 

I do not know the temps, and noise...

Considering the use case a mini PC would be the best option. It's easy to tug away because of it's size and doesn't need that much power since it's only used for web browsing and videos etc.

most minis hardly make any noise and generate next to no heat. Unless you buy them in a massive amount with a company their all overpriced.

 

Noise and heat come mainly from Fans and GPU. These tiny mins usually cant even fit fans and dont come with GPUs
