Lost Internet connection after PC goes to sleep

Hey all so I've had this problem for a while but now it's bugging me. I tried searching up online for solutions but it does not seem applicable to me. Apparently, I'm meant to uncheck the "allow computer to turn off this device" box under power management of the network adapter but I don't have that option. I'm using LAN from a WIFI Extender (TP-Link AC750) connected to the motherboard.

Are you using the drivers that Windows automatically installs? If so, I'd suggest downloading the network drivers for your device

I checked for any updates for the current driver online and on the PC but apparently I have the best driver for the device

I would recommend getting the model number and downloading the drivers from the manufacturers website. Windows doesn't know what it's doing when downloading drivers.
