Hello!

Little help,if possible....

Currently i have ryzen 3 2200g, paired with 2x4gb geil evo spear 3000mhz memory (running at 3200mhz), gigabyte b350 board and rx580 4gb.

Everything works fine, high fps, but strange stutters and drops, regardles of resolution or details in games. From 120 to 20fps, then again runs ok, and again stutter. Specialy in re2 remake.....

So, i wonder, will i profit more by replacing cpu with 1600x or 2600, or keep my current cpu for a while, and add another 8gb or ram.

What is your opinnion, replace cpu or add more ram?

Thanx!

You should figure out the cause of that stutter. It could be caused by a number of things - CPU bottleneck, RAM limit, VRAM limit.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

Do you know how much RAM you're using while gaming? 4 cores also doesn't help.. I think a 1600X/2600 would help with performance as well as more RAM.. I'm using a 2600 and it's a fine CPU..

Try using HWInfo > Sensors Only to analyze data to see what's causing the issue  while gaming.. Even afterburner can help with the stats/on screen display..

Thanx!

Any advice what to look at hwinfo?

I use.afterburner, monitor well almost.everything.... fps,cpu speed,cpu usage,mem speed,mem usage, gpu tem,speed,usage.....cores usage....

And everyrhing looks ok.

All of cores are at 4000mhz, no drops, usage vary from 20 to 70%. Gpu usage is 99% all of time.

No drops in frequencies, no thermal throttling, cpu is nowhere near 100% even when stutter occurs....

Really not sure.what is the problem, i thing either ram is insufficient, or cpu is bottlenecking.....
