Memory Frequency Issue

I bumped my desk while working, and windows just froze.I shut down my pc,removed RAM(as i faced this issue before and reinstalling RAM fixed it).But since then,in the taskbar and cpuz memory frequency shows 1600,while bios shows 3200.

My config:

Ryzen 5 1600

Gskill Tridentz rgb ddr4 8 gb 3200

Asus rog strix b350-f

Windows 10 64 bit,1903 version

Bios is updated to latest version,4801

1600x2 = 3200. Windows sometimes reports it as the actual frequency of 1600 and sometimes 3200. CPUz always shows it as the actual 1600. So you're good.

It is D-DR4, so double data rate. Real clockspeed x2 gets you the effective clock speed.

CPU-z showing the real clock speed is fine, for me it also shows 1500mhz, double that and you get the effective 3000mhz.

But windows task manager shows me 3000mhz, but there are reports of people who see the real clock speed, so it depends on luck if windows decides to show you the real value.

IF performance is the same as before i wouldn't worry, it is fine.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

no worries. I never trust Task manager to report correctly. But I can confirm 1000000000% that CPUz is correct. For DDR4 the lowest ive ever seen it self clock is 1866 so I dont even think you can set it to 1600mhz manually in the BIOS.
