I recently built a new computer, don't want to bore you with the details. I bought a case+psu bundle and the psu seemed ok. I haven't had any problems with it and my system works perfectly fine under load and idle.
The question is, should I trust this thing? Its thermaltake, and it doesn't look so bad, and I also have an Uninterruptable Power Supply, so the psu won't be affected by anything(electricity cut-offs etc). Do you think it would fail itself? I can afford to buy something better but just wondering if its necessary. (I can't afford a high end psu for now) According to cooler master's and other power supply calculator websites, my system doesn't consume more than 450~watts
My system is :

RTX 2070 - I don't overclock and I observed the power consumption while the gpu % was at 99, it doesn't reach 170w
msi b450 gaming plus
Amd ryzen 7 2700 - max 85w - and again, I don't overclock
8gbx2 ddr4 3200mhz kingston hyperx Ram

500gb ssd, 1gb sata hard drive and 1tb portable
I will attach a photograph of the psu specs.1374536205_WhatsAppImage2019-05-21at18_09_02.thumb.jpeg.4177bb332bb401d9a84562ec02dde66c.jpeg

500w on the 12v? that's a group reg

swap it

I recommend replacing it, it's a very low quality group regulated PSU. If something goes wrong it could cause some major damage to your components.

What kind of a power supply do you recommend for this build? I can't go overkill or high end, and EVGA products are almost impossible to find in my country.

Replace when you can, it's not going just blow up tomorrow.

It may even last 10 years without issue.

That PSU appears to be an unbranded TR2 that was sold bundled with some Thermaltake cases.
The model number TRS-600AH2NK seen in the bottom right hand corner of the label is the same used in the TR2 S 600w. Very low quality power supply. Not suitable for an RTX 2070 imo. Should be replaced.

Its not OK. It looks like its at least 10 Years old, probably 15 Years. The Label of that looks like its either really low quality or ancient.

First the UPS doesn't matter. It only cleans the line voltage. It doesn't make the PSU better (yes, some people claim that). And that's only if its a so called "Online UPS", wich is always working.

The PSU you've shown on the Picture is just absolute garbage, it can or will destroy the Rest, the only question is when. ANd if it does then you don't know/assume its the PSU because it just randomly fails without reason, seemingly.

YES; YES; YES, it is Necessary!

You wouldn't want 10 year old China Tyres on your car, you'd want Dunlop or other good stuff.

The PSU doesn't look like a quality PSU. Thermaltake has some good units, but rule of the Thumb: If it isn't  80plus Gold (and Thermaltake) its probably not good.

There are only a hand full of good Bronze units...

The rest looks pretty reasonable.

WIth a good quality PSU you're fine.
