Try to pull the cooler off cleanly, straight up. Then take a shot of the paste distribution on both the cooler and IHS. The distribution pattern can tell you if there is uneven pressure or contact.

Yoooo!! Redoing it worked! There was uneven pressure and i mounted the front bracket of the cooler side ways. Bow the temps are around 64c. Thank you all!

So i had a hyper tx3 evo installed on my i7-8700 and the temps under gaming loads were around 70c to 75c, later on i installed a thermaltake riing silent 12 pro for better cooling and the temps are now around 75c to 78c. I'am really confused why!?? Maybe i installed it the wrong way? Or maybe the thermal paste application was wrong? Idk i really need help.

P.s the fan of the cpu cooler is running at full speed and it was the same with tx3 evo.

How many case fans in total do you have? It might be a case where there is no sufficient airflow in the case

But, the temps are good. So it might be a case where the fan is not installed correctly. For that cooler, the fan must blow air through the heatsink.

Make sure your paste isnt too thick. Even if its just somewhat too thick it can affect your temps by a few degrees. Just double check everything. Proper airflow. Dead air in the case could cause this. Whats your exhaust fan?

1 exhaust fan, 3 front case fans running at 1500 rpm. I think i should redo the thermal paste

Yeah try it. See if it makes a difference. Your exhaust fan should be sufficient but that is alot of air being moved into the system and having only one exhaust could cause air to linger. But im probably wrong and i doubt thats your issue.

Yeah try it. When doing the line method it has to be a thin layer.

Only too little paste negatively impacts performance. Too much or the "wrong" application shape have next to no impact at all. Plenty of videos testing this.

I'd make sure you installed it right and it has the proper mounting pressure.

Another thing could be non-flat IHS or cold plates. You old cooler could have been a better fit for your IHS.

I'll redo everything from the start tomorrow and see if it makes a difference.

Try to pull the cooler off cleanly, straight up. Then take a shot of the paste distribution on both the cooler and IHS. The distribution pattern can tell you if there is uneven pressure or contact.
