so this is the first time this happens. just browsing a website with only 1 tab open and suddenly the computer froze, couldn't even restart had to power it off from the button. on the even viewer i get this ''A fatal hardware error has occurred. A record describing the condition is contained in the data section of this event.'' WHEA-Logger as source

We need more information..

 

Such as..

 

Computer specs/hardware..

 

Any type of overclocks you may have..

 

Any other changes that may or may not have been made inside the BIOS..

 

Anything else you may or may not consider useful..

 

Favorite color?

specs: gigabyte b360m aorus gaming 3 mobo,i3 8100,8gb ddr4 adata xpg 3200mhz,samsung 850 evo 250gb,windwos 10 pro, if that's anywhere relevant considering i didn't do any OC ,or any bios changes.when this happened the computer was used by a family member just playing a random browser game

Could simply be the browser game.. Does the PC work fine doing everything else?

well why would it be? it's just a facebook bubble game lol,nothing demanding. like i've said i didn't have any freeze problems in the last month since i've instaled my mobo

Try the game again.. Gotta test and test to fine the root cause, rinse and repeat.. You wont hurt the computer.. It's not that the game could be too demanding, but what it requires to run, could be a glitch, browser could have locked up trying to load something.. Try it again. If you don't experience any problems I wouldn't worry about it.. Sometimes something just causes a crash once and that's it..
