Thermal take 3.0

Friends got me a thermal take 3.0 and I tried installing it. Here comes the problem, my B85M pro4 motherboard doesn't have a 9 pin connector. So I'm guessing it's not suitable?? I tried switching on my pc, works fine but the software it came with does not detect it at all. Anyway to get the 9 pin to connect in another way?? If not I have to install back my old cm cooler:(

your mobo has 2 usb 2.0 headers (9pin) , so you can plug it in just fine,unless you used them up already ofc

hmm but the software for the cooler is still not able to detect it.

I think you need to reinstall the software, because you installed the software before without the usb header plugged in so it probably didn't install the driver for it.

tried reinstalling, device manager, still wouldnt detect it...
