Hi everyone,

I am currently living in the UK and I have a pc build optimized however I have went over the budget for it. My max budget is £1000 including the keyboard and the monitor and I was hoping you guys would give me some advice on what to change so I can cut it down to my budget.

My PC build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Arsen2111/saved/2I41

Also I live in the UK so that monitor that I have chosen I would really like but it is not sold in Europe. Any ideas on how I could get it to me for a fair price?

You could always get a 60gb SSD just for the OS then later on get another SSD just for games if you want to limit the initial cost.

One thing you could potentially do is just get a dirt cheap keyboard somewhere and save up for the mechanical keyboard later on. A cheap keyboard like that would be the easiest to replace. (I know it won't get you all the way there, but just something to consider)

EDIT: Do you need an OS? Also, how attached are you to that case? I actually use the same one, but you could probably get something with similar features for cheaper even though it might not be as "stylish".

Only need a monitor and a keyboard and my build. I was thinking of changing the cpu cooler or taking it out completely or maybe even changing the motherboard for a cheaper one idk.

I'm not sure how you could get the monitor you wanted, but as a placeholder, I just picked a cheap IPS 1080p monitor for cost estimation.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor (£80.00 @ Ebuyer)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£25.18 @ Aria PC)

Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard (£74.37 @ Amazon UK)

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£64.24 @ Amazon UK)

Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk (£59.34 @ Amazon UK)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£43.97 @ Dabs)

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (£431.74 @ Scan.co.uk)

Case: Antec One ATX Mid Tower Case (£44.99 @ Amazon UK)

Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£53.54 @ Amazon UK)

Monitor: LG 23EA63V-P 23.0" Monitor (£126.56 @ Amazon UK)

Keyboard: KeyTronic KT800U210PK Wired Standard Keyboard (£8.95 @ Amazon UK)

Total: £1012.88 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.) (Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-01-24 18:46 GMT+0000)

Maybe a bit too different than what you wanted, but those are my thoughts given your budget. I still think that you should get the cheapest keyboard now, and save up for a mechanical one later.

Nah this build doesnt suit me as I am a programmer and I would be programming and running my programs and stuff and Intel CPU's are better for that. Thanks for your recommendation though :)

You are not going to like it. Some tough choices to make the budget. The monitor included is an IPS panel. They have great color reproduction and excellent viewing angles. The big sacrifice is the GTX 780.
