No, that CPU is perfectly fine for use with a 1660ti.

not a great option, its just like from 970 to 1070...

at least go for 2060 for better jump in performance

as for cpu, depend on what you do, shall be fine for most task. when time comes get ryzen 3000

I mainly need for video editing.. Adobe premiere and a bit of after effects.. Does 1660ti playsback 4k footage and can we edit? . Or 2060 better?

Also if I were to get ryzen cpu, will nvidia GPU and amd CPU become an issue?

Of course the RTX 2070 will be by far better, but your CPU is kinda old and wont be able to catch up

I think you can find a cheap CPU in AMD, but let someone else make the suggestion as i am in the dark on the red team! :)
