How to run program without admin password

Joshcanread

At school for my programming class I want to use sublime text but all they have is notepad++ and it's shit (I like the colours of sublime). Could I download it to a USB or something and just run the program off of that because i'm not altering the school's PC harddrive? and how?

Sublime has a portable version so you download and run that from a USB memory stick.

Here is the link, which I found on the download page. Just download that, extract it to your USB, and run it from there.

Or alternatively you could just change the look of Notepad++.

Settings -> Style Configurator

It should have some default themes you can choose from, or you can change the color however you want.

The theme "Monokai" is very similar to the default theme of Sublime, although the font is different.
