Custom Hackintosh VM on Linux Question

Is it possible to run a single GPU on a Linux/Hackintosh VM? Also, is there a simpler way to set up a Linux/Hackintosh VM as pointed as in the linustechtips video.

You can run the vm with software graphics, but graphics performance will be bad.

 

You can also passthrough the only gpu on the system if you want.

 

You might be able to run multiple vms on one gpu with osx with sr-iov or vgpu, but that needs special gpus and hasn't been tested well.

 

A hackintosh is never really simple. If you want simple buy a mac. If you want a simple osx vm, but a mac, run esxi on it. Thats the only supported way to do osx vms.
