GMMK rgb too dim?

So I want a gmmk tkl from the Glorious Gaming Master Race to try new switches and I’ve seen people complain about the rgb being too dim. To those who own a gmmk and another rgb keyboard, is the gmmk rgb dimmer?

It's due to the switches they use. The GMMK has LEDs that sit under the switch, (necessary for hot swap), as where a lot of keyboards have them wired thorough the switch so they sit above it.  If you put a solid switch in there it will block most of the light. There is a small hole in the switch for the light but only a portion of it comes out. You need a transparent switch in the GMMK for RGB.
