Recently I started having some problem with my computer. When I start gaming, after a couple of minutes or sometimes even hours the PC shuts down with the error. ''Your PC ran into a problem'', and with the code '' unexpected store expection''. I think this might be the hard drive as the temperatures while gaming gradually go up. I've had the hard drive in the back of the PC from the start and it was working fine. When I started getting this error I placed it in the front but it didn't really help.

It gives a error a shuts down ?  if the PC is turning off its most likely the PSU but if it gives a BSOD while your gaming then you may have some instability going on.  Which one is it a shut down or a BSOD ?

That's the one I get, and at the bottom is says ''unexpected store expection''.

Grab AIda64 and run stability test with GPU checked as well and see if it will run for 1 hour straight.  If so your fine.  If not and gives us a BSOD then you have a stability issue.  It can be the RAM or a overclock or simply your temps.

It went all the way through the stability test. Also my specs:

I5-4690K

RX 470 SAPPHIRE NITRO 8GB

12GB RAM DDR3

ASROCK B85M PRO4

500GB HDDimage.thumb.png.c68e862404150b248af22bb53e1d48f4.png

Ok perhaps resetting the BIOS to defaults might have fixed it.  Now go play a game and let us know.

I think that actually fixed it. I’ve been playing for over an hour and no blue screen yet. Thanks for your help man, really appreciate it.
