Hi everyone. I'm new here. Since I'm a tech savvy person myself I decided to post this in Linus's forums since his fans would probably have a better understanding of this issue. Alright, so let's begin the explaining process. Back in April I bought a Zotac GTX 1050ti (OC) from eBay. The seller was very nice and claimed he had only tested it, but besides that it was new. It worked up until two days ago, when all of a sudden my entire system would restart and boot back up whenever I tried to load anything GPU intensive. I was playing Black Ops 4, and their operation "Grand Heist" had 100 tiers. I was at tier 98 when this happened. Needless to say, the worst happened and the event ended the very next day. So basically all of those items are locked behind supply drops and blah blah blah. I saw some guys saying it was a PSU problem not providing enough juice. Doesn't make sense. This is a Corsair HX1200i meaning 1200W!! I don't understand. Can someone help?

Does seem like the PSU could be a problem... Even tho it's a 1200w psu, it could be heading to the grave.

What are your GPU temperatures when you try to run a game / benchmark? If you don't know.. Download and install MSI Afterburner and look for the GPU temp and run a benchmark.

I have MSI afterburner. I have my temps set to show on my keyboard in color. It's in the green. And it shifts slightly to yellow but mainly sits in green. So I know it's not overheating. I do know the problem however. It's the graphics card. It just died on me and the system won't start while it's in it. I knew it was the GPU all along. I did however get the GPU to stop crashing and received a directx error. As for the PSU, it's refurbished and in perfect working condition. About to put my old trusty 960 SSC back in.

It is the power supply. Recently my pc shut off randomly while idle. Today, when I first pressed the power button, it started up for a split second and went right off like you were to turn the power off and drain the capacitors by pressing the power button while it was off. Had to press it again to get it started. Like revving up an old motor. Gonna get an 850W Corsair PSU instead from Amazon. They're pretty cheap at about $79.99 + tax
