headset creaking?

So I have started to notice that my sennheiser 6xx and pc37x both creak pretty bad. small movements from moving my head slightly or talking causes them to creak. It doesnt bother me too much but the noise is actually getting picked up by the mic on the pc37x. I am trying to find a way to fix it. only thing I saw was to take out the earcups and blast em with canned air,which I did but didn't work.

Does anyone know of a way to prevent the creaking or maybe suggest headset/headphones that wont creak?

wait are you talking creaking or crackling? cause pretty sure the creaking is caused by the headband rather than the cups

Creaking. it sounds like it comes from where the cushioned cups meet the headphones, although I could be wrong
