once a year maby, unless your temps start to rise

so i have a h100i and it has the stock paste on it and it has been like that for about 7 months now i have no heat problems but if i change it will i get better temps?

I would change it for a better thermal paste, the stock paste isn't normally the best.

It's not really worth it if you're happy with your temps. I still use the stock paste on my Kuhler and have no issues with it.

You don't really have to worry about it unless it starts overheating.

Thermal paste has a pretty long lifespan, so don't worry about that. The main reason for replacing thermal paste is reducing temperatures, which it can do by a quite a few degrees (depending on setup, usually less that 10C)
