Hi, I just got my headphones and i couldn't help myself, so i cranked up some rock (volbeat) and gave it a blast. I forgot about "breaking-in" the headphones. Will i ruin them if i just crank up the volume from the get-go?

You shouldn't ruin them, as long as they're under their max power. There's really no evidence that shows that breaking in headphones does a damn thing - they're not shoes, they don't change.

I don't care what audiophile tells you what, a break-in will probably never happen (...and if it does, it's probably in the owner's head anyhow).

Just don't worry. Break-in times are a myth of sort.

There's the whole argument whether to break-in headphones or not, I would just say use them normally and they will break-in over time.

Thats what I figured, When I bought new headphones, they where a big  enough upgrade to me that they sounded awesome from the get go.

I wanted to listen to them straight away, not cycle white noise/pink noise/whatever for 10/24/50/100 hours, I wanted to listen to them.

I dont really believe in ''breaking" them in too.

But after i good my new headphones and played music while i went to a friend they sounded fuller with better base somehow.

But its not the headphone drivers breaking in its probably you getting used too your new headphones, your brain gets used too them.

Its ofcourse also like 50% a placebo affect but why not have that if it doesnt to anything bad ,right?
