Switch between 2 Dedicated Gpu(AMD - NVIDIA)

Go to solution Solved by APasz,

You can't pass the output of one GPU through another. So dual monitors is required.

I can't remember but maybe setting the GTX monitor as the 'Main' monitor and restarting may help.

Hi LTT Community,

I just wanted to ask if anybody had an idea how to switch between dedicated GPU's I have a GTX1050ti as secondary(mostly for Cuda) and an RX580 as primary, so yesterday i wanted to try out the pathtracing minecraft shader (needs NVIDIA) , but I simply couldn't get minecraft to use the 1050 anybody any ideas why and how i could fix this, they are even on different monitors but doesnt seem to matter.

would appriciate the help

Seus's Shader isn't using DirectX Ray-Tracing, its some other kind of Unicorn Magic, but as for now it's only supported on Nvidia GPU's
