Hello,I am Angelo !

I just bought a 'new' pc (Gateway DT71)

Specs : Cpu:Intel I5 2nd gen i5 2400 3.1 ghz
        Ram:2x 2gb samsung ddr 3
        Hdd : 1x 300gb samsung
              1x 500gb wd
        Graphics card : Nvidia GT730 from gigabyte 1gb gddr5

I was asking if it will support Windows 10 Home/Pro/Pro for workstations/enterprise.

I am currently running windows 7 ultimate ,but support will end and I care about my security and files .
  (I have a windows 10 skin for windows 7 whould I keep it ? )
                                                                                                                                          Thanks in advance !

Yes, it will support it. Definitely need to upgrade your RAM though, 4gb is not really enough for even just web browsing anymore.

Not so long ago Chrome (and other browsers) has 32 bit versions only and can use about 2GB of ram at max, and still people have open hundreds of tabs sometimes. So no, for browsing internet, 4GB ram is enough. Browser can use more ram if you have more, but it's not what is really needed for browsing internet.

Anyway, 8GB (or more) is not a bad idea for other tasks.

I am considering an upgrade to 16 gb but first I need the money ????

Intel says that i5 2400 3.1 ghz isn't supported

Where it says that? Its more about thing being other way around. Where Win7 isn't supported on newest CPU models, both Intel and AMD.

Guy's thanks for all the replies.

I just installed windows 10 but my cpu is capped at 100% ... I tried a lot of methods on the web like super fetch and others ...but they don't work

I even checked all of the drivers .. and in task manager nothing used more than 1%

I installed windows 10 from Microsoft with a genuine license bought from them.
