Need help with Nintendo Wii

I'm currently in Japan and could pick up a Wii pretty cheap, but I wonder if it is still possible to make the Wii region free

because I would like to use it in Europe when I'm back. Does anyone now that? Or has experience on that topic?

Yes, Nintendo Wii consoles can be easily jailbroken / unlocked / have their NAND backed up and replaced with EmuNAND. Unfortunately, we really can't go into detail on how to do this nor link to anywhere that has a guide since Nintendo believes this is illegal / against their ToS / EULA so you'll have to do some research.

OK thanks, yeah it sucks that they see it that way, but if it wouldn't be possible I wouldn't buy one
