Problematic Temperature?

Go to solution Solved by imbrock,

Those don't seem too unreasonable, they usually sit a bit above ambient temperature. The gpu might be a bit hot but a lot of manufacturers leave them on super low fan when not in use for noise reasons.

Hello, I decided to open HWMonitor after a long time and I noticed some temperatures that I believe are a bit high for those who are not doing anything on the pc. I just restarted it, so it has no very heavy open process. I use 4 fans + processor cooler. The temperatures are normal, since I live in a particularly hot part of Brazil (30ºC now). Outa asks, how can temperatures increase due to viruses?

Temps are related on how much system is stressed. So those are your idle/low load temps. Do some heavy tasks and ask again. Either stress test or benchmark, or something you normally use PC for.

And virus' can cause high temps if they are the kind that uses system resources.
