Earth Muncher is FREE right now over at IndieGala. Steam link... Earth Muncher. Positive reviews.

Daily Chthonicle Editors Edition is FREE right now over at IndieGala. Steam link... Daily Chthonicle Editors Edition. Mostly Positive reviews.

Earth Muncher is a very surprisingly addictive retro action puzzler with great sound that makes time fly according to a few of the top reviews.

Daily Chthonicle Editors Edition is a lovecraftion noir investigation management simulation game with replay-ability since it changes up the story each time you play it.

Both these types of games are not everyones cup of tea but this would be a great place to get into them if you never have.

How does IndieGala work?  Does it redeem on Steam?

It does not redeem on Steam and is drm-free. You basically make an IndieGala account with any email you wish. Then you go to each of these freebie links and claim each game to your account and they're yours forever. You can then download and install them to your PC anytime you wish by visiting your profile page and then visit your showcase library. They usually download as a zip file to make downloading faster. I always just create a random folder on my desktop and then unzip the game into the new random folder and then put that folder with all my other games.

Sounds like a lot but I assure you it's a breeze and very convenient because most of the games are very small in size. I like IngieGala a lot and I only download the free games from them. 9 out of 10 free games just are worth giving a go and sometimes can really surprise ya'. I would say they give out free games once or twice a week and in 2019, they've been very consistent with the giveaways and pretty generous with the quality of the games they give out for free. Totally recommend them and to be honest they've been nothing but 5 stars when it comes to free games.

The games you buy from IndieGala are Steam keys but I have yet to buy any. They're located in Rome, Italy according to their website. Which I learned just now. They have 6.8 million registered users, have sold 72 million games and have profited 21 million dollars. Not bad for a company that's existed since 2011.
