New here, I'm looking to buy or build my first pc for gaming with a little bit of CAD on the side. I found this ( https://www.kijiji.ca/v-desktop-computers/calgary/home-built-gaming-computer/1427811497?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true ) on kijiji and was wondering if would be sufficient for my intended purposes. I would like to be able to play newer online multiplayer games at medium to high settings (Rainbow Six Siege, Rust, Apex) on 1080p 60hz monitors. According to the seller it was originally built to run FFXIV and WoW, it includes all the peripherals seen in the pictures as well as a second monitor and a logitech G930 headset. The graphics card is a GTX 650ti but I would be willing to upgrade that to a GTX 1060 6Gb if it is compatible with the case (a CM enforcer, not a storm trooper like it says in the ad)  I'm currently on a fairly tight budget but would like to have some upgradeability for the future.

yeah it's a pretty sweet deal for $500, you'll need to replace the mobo for future upgrades unless you're fine with modding but it'll still do fine for gaming with the right GPU.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

The 6700K is a still a very good processor, its definitely worth checking it out cos a brand new 6700K is almost CAD500 on its own. This could be a massive steal for you.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600  Heatsink: ID-Cooling Frostflow X GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 6GB RAM: KLEVV Bolt 3600Mhz (2x8GB) Mobo: ASUS B550-F ROG Strix (Wifi)  Case: Fractal Design Meshify C PSU: Deepcool DQ-M-V2L

I couldn't find the exact case on pcpartpicker to check compatibility. What are the chances of a gtx 1060 being compatible, and how difficult would it be to replace, keep in mind i have no experience working on computers.

The build you chose is a great deal. The GPU is 100% compatible. It's just a matter of taking out the old GPU from the PCI-e slot and inserting the new one and then plugging the power supply into it. It's an easy upgrade and if you watch a short video it should give you all you need:

it'll be compatible. just get a mini card if you're really worried but any GPU should fit it.

CM Storm Trooper is an ATX Full Tower, must be some GPU if it can't fit in this absolute chungus of a case ?

That won't be necessary. That tower is an older StormTrooper which will fit pretty much any card.

I'll probably go take a look at it tomorrow afternoon. What should I look for when buying a used computer and are there any tests i should run to check the hardware?

I'd recommend bringing a USB stick with you that has RealTemp and Passmark installers on it. Install them on the machine, run RealTemp, run passmark, check for overheating on the CPU while it runs, make sure the tests complete. Look at what the performance of the 6700K is from other users on passmark and make sure the performance lines up. Make sure the tower is relatively clean and well maintained (it looks like it is, though). Make sure all the fans spin. Make sure there's no signs of accidents such as dents in the tower or discoloration that looks like spills on components. Run task manager and make sure both sticks of RAM are showing up. That's about it.
